Hi Christy, Have you noticed Target salvaging items at 30-50% off now and not going much higher? It seems like our stores are salvaging many more items (lots of leftover stock) much quicker and not any higher than 50% off.
I noticed this just today.. Normally, this early in January, they still have holiday items on clearance. There was a nice box of chocolates that I wanted to buy, and when I tried to scan it said not in system. So I asked an employee, and she said that all the Christmas items have been taken out and are going to salvage. I’ll have to remember that now for next year. Seems like such a waste. So many items there I saw today that I was willing and able to buy, and probably for more money than they would receive selling them at auction or whatever happens to them. It left me quite disappointed in them. Year after year, I have gone after the holidays and had so much fun buying the holiday leftovers at least through the first week of January. Not anymore.
