I am sharing a few items you may want to keep an eye out for when you are scoping out the Valentine clearance. I did notice a few home decor item on clearance that weren’t in the back of the store with all the other Valentine merchandise. Also, keep in mind that some of the Dollar Spot items will be on clearance too.
Here are a couple links to Target.com where you can view the collections that should be on clearance in-store (these items WILL NOT have red clearance stickers). Make sure to check the prices by using the scanners, because I have noticed not all of the items from these collections are on clearance:
Here are the dates the markdowns took place last year to give us a decent idea of when they may happen this year.
- 50% off (candy 30% off) – February 15th
- 70% off (candy 50% off) – February 17th and 18th
- 90% off (candy 70% off) – February 20th

Vaseline Lip Therapy Rosy Lips is part of the clearance.
These Barbie Chelsie Dolls would be great to pick up for Easter baskets.
Watch for pillows with hearts and love on them. They are ringing up as part of the clearance. You can tell that they are part of the Valentine clearance instead of the regular clearance because they end in a 9 when you scan them. If they were part of the regular clearance the price would end in an 8 (or 4).
There are quite a few pieces from the Valentine’s Day Decor Collection that you may find in the decor section at your store.
These gold candles are part of the clearance too.
Check for items in the craft section. This Hand Made Modern XO is part of the clearance.
Don’t forget to check Starbucks for Valentine themed mugs and travel tumblers that are on clearance. How cute is this mug?
