Great news! Target is offering new perks for REDcard holders, you’ll now get early access to special events, products & promotions and exclusive extras, including special items, offers & 10% off coupon as a gift on your REDcard anniversary each year.
They just released one of the perks! On November 22, REDcard holders will get early access to some of the Black Friday deals. Purchases can be made on Target.com on November 22 beginning at approximately midnight (PT). REDcard early access offer applied when you use your REDcard at checkout on Target.com.
REDcard holders always get an extra 5% off and FREE shipping all year long! If you haven’t signed up for the REDcard now is a great time to get one, you can choose either a debit card or a credit card and you can apply online.
Target Debit Card: Target REDcard Debit Card can be used at Target stores and at Target.com. This card draws right from your existing checking account, just like if you were writing a check.
Target REDcard Credit Card: Target REDcard Credit Card can only be used at Target.com and Target stores.
Here are all of the benefits REDCard holders can enjoy:
- 5% off your entire purchase at Target & Target.com
- FREE Shipping on any size order at Target.com
- 10% off coupon on your REDcard anniversary each year
- Early access to special events, products and promotions
- Exclusive extras
- 30 Extra days for returns
- No need to save your receipts, customer service can look up all your transaction when they scan your Target REDcard
Two of the red card benefits above are wrong. There is not free shipping on everything. There are some bulky items that have an additional charge. Also, receipts can be looked up on ANY card, debit or credit, Target or not, for 90 days only, then they are dropped from the system.
Hi Linda, I do not believe the two items you mentioned are incorrect, they are in fact benefits of the REDcard. They do offer free shipping on your order when you pay with your Target REDcard. There are larger furniture pieces that may have an extra handling fee, but the shipping is free. You are correct that any receipt can be looked up if you pay with a debit card or credit card and the REDcard fits that bill so if you use your REDcard you will be getting that benefit. It’s not an exclusive benefit, but it is still a benefit. I hope that clears things up.
