It sounds like the Halloween clearance has hit 70% off today. Don’t forget that this clearance will include some Halloween, fall and non-seasonal items from the Dollar Spot too. You can check out these photos to see a lot of the Dollar Spot items that should be on clearance. In many cases they will have moved the Dollar Spot items to the back of the store with the Halloween clearance.
Sometimes the employees don’t get the chance to change out the markdown signs before the markdown happens, so if you see a 50% off sign, I would scan an item or two to see if they have gone down to 70% off. Food items should be down to 50% off now.
