Get ready! Target stores will be hosting a FREE Our Generation Adopt-A-Pup event on September 8th from 10-1 pm. Kids are invited to bring their own Our Generation doll and choose a FREE limited edition 6″ plush pup and pose for special photos. Keep in mind you’ll need to register for this event by August 27th in order to secure your spot. Walk-ins are welcome to attend this event but supplies will be limited.
As with all OG events, this isn’t “kids of all ages” but rather any kid under 18. You cannot RSVP without a “child” counted in your response and you certainly can’t get any of the “gifts” intended for children if you show up.
Not for collectors or kids of any age over 18!
Do you think they’d mind if we brought an AG doll in an OG outfit? We don’t have an OG doll, but do love their accessories?
In the FAQ’s it says you do have to have an OG Doll.
So disappointed with what was supposed to be an event at my local Target. We got registered, received emails, and then today went over and NO event!! Someone at corporate really screwed up. My daughter did receive a free puppy, but not what was supposed to be a limited edition. This is the first event that we have ever signed up to participate and it was very disappointing. Not upset with our local associates. They can only do with what they are given. The story we got was that they got the display stuff but not the other products.
We went to our local Target (Reston, VA) after a friend told me about this awesome event this morning after she had just left. Walked right in and no wait. My kids were thrilled! Thanks Target! On top of that, I filled out a survey regarding the event and will be getting a $5 Target Gift Card. Target for the win!
I signed my 2 granddaughters up We arrived at the store Sugarcreek about 5 minutes early. Nothing was set up. Went back to the toy area asked 2 employees and they weren’t much help. Finally I asked the second employee to call a LOD. He said we needed to go up from to register which by now numerous people are trying to figure out. Got the kids registered went back to electronics to a very unenthusiastic employee. Girls picked out dog and color. They had no pictures or anything else that was mentioned when I first signed them up. I appreciate the free dogs but at this store it was a very unorganized event that I would not have bothered with. This was a special surprise for the girls and the store made it a huge disappointment. Hopefully it went better at other stores and the activities that were mentioned actually happened. Target Sugarcreek really let me and a lot of other people down.
