They should adjust one of the coupons down, so you should be able to just buy the Hershey Simple Pleasures and get them for free (+ sales tax if your state has it).

I’m new to couponing so maybe I’m missing something here…but I just bought these at my Target and they came up on the receipt as $1.99 (even though on the shelf they were listed at $2.99). The cashier scanned and took both of my coupons though. So I’m a little frustrated…either I’m not understanding the receipt correctly, or she took my $1.00 off Target coupon when she shouldn’t have.
When they scan the Target coupons it will reduce the price of the item on your receipt. This is in case you return something, you used a Target coupon on, you will get back the actual price you paid. In this case they would show up on your recepit as $1.99. If you also used the $2 off coupon, it should show up at the bottom of the receipt.
