Target Weekly Clearance Update (Toys, Baby, Shoes & More)

1/11/18

We may earn money or products from the companies mentioned in this post.

Here is the Target Weekly Clearance Update. This week I found lots of toys marked 50-70% off, baby gear was 70% off and a ton of shoes marked down 30-50% off. All of these deals were found at my Renton, WA Target store. Here is a peek some of the toys I found at 70% off:

Below are some of the toys I found marked down to 50% off.

The clearance baby gear was mostly marked down to 50% off at my store. This year, I am seeing strollers on clearance more than anything else.

There are some nice markdowns in the sporting goods department too. All of these items were 50% off. In previous years these items usually get marked down to 70% off a week or so following the toy markdown.

I found several art kits marked down to 50% off.

This Ninja 2-in-1 Slow Cooker was 30% off.

I am totally serious when I say that over half of the shoe department seems to be on clearance.   So. Many. Markdowns.

Even though all the signs said 30% off, I did find that may of the shoes were actually marked down to 50% off.

January is by far one of the best months for shopping clearance deals at Target.  They have to clear out the old to bring in the new!  We’d love to see  what you are finding at clearance at your Target store.  Please share your photos any of the following ways:

Wow, this is the first year I’m not jealous of other finds.
The last few years haven’t been great with these clearance sales, usually just one product line that’s actually cool, like last year with all the Air Hogs star wars vehicles.

This year has been okay so far. “Black Box” Star wars figures are good to pick up, and there were a lot of half-decent but not-great Legos from the “City” and Batman lines.

I really don’t like that they stagger the markdowns over 2-3 weeks and a lot of it never goes past 30-50%. I suppose it dissuades the “scalpers” from wiping all the shelves out, though. But there must be a new strategy in place as far as the actual markdown — maybe they assume people will just buy this stuff at 30% off and walk away happy. I don’t, really.
