The Christmas items should be marked down to 50% off today (food will probably be only 30% off). Here are the days the Christmas items went to 70% off and 90% off last year to kind of give us an idea of when the markdowns may take place this year:
- 50% off = December 25th
- 70% off = December 31st
- 90% off = January 6th

I shopped and will shop more when prices drop again. At 50% I buys what I know I really want or will need soon. I picked up two boxes of festive fruit snacks and goldfish(santa on box) for the kids school snack. I found two ziplock holiday container packs & used my $1 coupon (for gif baskets next year). I picked up two canisters of the Planters holiday spice mixed nuts (for our superbowl party) and used the man. coupon & target coupon. I found two of the Fisher price cupcake toys in the stocking stuffer isle (X-mass or birthday for my niece and my cousins little girl). I picked up one thing of holiday whoppers (for dh), one box of holiday dots (for ds) and two holiday books of starburst (used coupon). I wanted to try to AF chips with cin. & suger so I picked up a bag. We like the Stacy’s pita chips so I bought a bag of the naked flavor (they also had gingerbread-pass). I found one box of the transformer toothbursh 2pack for ds and one of the girls tb decorate the box style for dd. I also picked up two bags of bc snickerdoodle cookie mix (used coupon), one box of pillsbury sugar cookie and one box of pillsbury cake mix.- mostly to replace what I have used up over the holidays. My store still have several bags of the Nestle tollhouse holiday chip bags (red, green and chocolate) at 50% so I bought two. I also found one bag of the peppermint marshmellows. Several food items were in the holiday isle but didn’t scan 50%- didn’t really need them so I didn’t bother to take them to the register. -Checked all the baby/toddler carters pjs-NONE range up on sale. The fancy holiday baby girls dresses by baby glam were ringing up 50%- they only go up to 9ms and my niece will be 18mths next December so I passed on those-bought a bunch at 90% for her last year. I used my $3 off Target coupon (Holiday tableclothes, napkins, runners, or placemats) today. Initially I printed it to get the Free Threshold linen placemats or the .19 cent Threshold 2 pk. Of linen napkins but now that all the Threshold holiday linens are 50% off I was able to score me a very nice tablecloth instead. Woohoo!!!

I saved my Threshold coupon too since mine excluded the napkins and placemats. The holiday linens actually went 50% off before Christmas at my store. I needed an oblong tablecloth, but all they had left were round. I found one, unmarked, in the regular section and picked it up!
Found a $1-1 Method Cleaning Item coupon on Target.com. Hopefully we can use it if there are still Method Holiday Liquid Soaps still left.
