Vicki, this IS NOT a sale item. It is a gift card deal, so it is perfectly valid for Target to not give out rain checks. Additionally, since this is such a good deal, people are probably buying everything on the shelf and asking if there are more in the stockroom (and then buying all those too). It is not Target’s fault if someone buys up every single item in their inventory, and they can’t restock the shelves if they’re not receiving more items till later.
