I’m always on the lookout for quick and healthy snacks, especially those that contain no artificial flavors and are high in protein. I was thrilled to spot these new Special K Nourish Bars & Bites and Protein Bars & Bites from Kellogg’s at my Target. I tried the Nourish Dark Chocolate Pistachio and they were yummy. I’m looking forward to giving the Blueberry Quinoa Almond a try too.

There are no artificial flavors in the Protein Snack Bars also. There are some fun flavors like this Caramel Pretzel Cashew. Yum!

Both the bars and bites are great at home but they work really well for on-the-go snacking. Whether you are going on a hike, running your kids to soccer games, or just going to the grocery store these Kellogg’s Special K Nourish & Proteins Bites and Bars are the perfect snack.

I am very impressed with the entire Kellogg’s Special K line. I had cereal on my grocery list and I had a hard time deciding between the Nourish Apple Raspberry Almond or the Coconut Cranberry Almond, they both sounded so good. I ended up buying both!

Confession time! I love cereal, but I do not love milk. I’m one of those crazy people that eats their cereal without milk (please tell me I’m not the only one.) I do however LOVE to mix my cereal with vanilla yogurt and fresh fruit. I absolutely love the Nourish Apple Raspberry Almond cereal and it pairs so well with my yogurt. This cereal is my new fave! I highly recommend you give it a try. It has multi-grain flakes with quinoa and there is a slight sweetness to the flakes, the apple and raspberries give it just a bit of tartness. Thanks to the Cartwheel offer, I plan to stock-up next time I head to Target.

Keeping snacks in your car is a great way to save yourself from stopping at a fast food drive-thru. I use a handy plastic basket to keep in the car when I know my family will be running from one activity to the next. It’s great for road trips too.

You can even find Kellogg’s Special K items in the freezer section. These Kellogg’s Special K Flatbread sandwiches are an excellent source of protein and they make for a great breakfast at home or on-the-go.
