Kashi Granola Bars and Cereals are currently on sale at Target for $3.29. The deal gets even sweeter because this week there are Cartwheel offers to save you 10% on Kashi Granola Bars and Kashi Cereals. (Cartwheel offer valid though 4/29).
This is the perfect time to give the Kashi Chewy Nut Butter Bars a try, they come in the following yummy flavors:
- Salted Chocolate Chunk
- Almond Snickerdoodle
- Chocolate Trail Mix
- Coconut Cashew Macaroon
I had the opportunity to try these for the first time last month and I was truly impressed with how yummy they are. In fact, they have now become a staple at our house. Just last week my daughter told me that we need some more of “those granola bars”. I asked her which ones she was talking about and she replied “the good ones”. I knew she was talking about the Kashi Chewy Nut Butter Bars. Her personal faves are the Salted Chocolate Chunk and Chocolate Trail Mix. My favorite are the Coconut Cashew Macaroon and the Chocolate Trail Mix. You can’t go wrong with any of them!
The Kashi bars are the perfect snack for hikes, breakfast, sporting activities or when you are on-the go. I really like the fact that they are made with Fair Trade Certified Ingredients and are NON-GMO Project verified. The are also gluten free which is great for those with dietary restrictions.
Kashi has a new flavor of their popular Go Lean cereal, Kashi Go Lean Chocolate Crunch. It’s a plant protein and multigrain cereal made with Fair Trade Chocolate. It’s a good source of protein (10g) and fiber (7g).
It’s great on it’s own in a bowl with milk, as a topping on yogurt or ice cream and even in recipes.
I recently used the Kashi Go Lean Chocolate Crunch cereal to make some Energy Bites. These are super easy to make and there is no baking required. They make for a quick and easy snack and are super tasty too!
No-Bake Chocolate Crunch Peanut Butter Energy Bites
- 1 cup Kashi Go Lean Chocolate Crunch Cereal
- 1 cup Quick Rolled Oats
- 1/2 cup Peanut Butter
- 1/3 cup Honey
- 1/4 cup ground Flax Seeds
- 1 tsp vanilla
Put the Kashi Go Lean Chocolate Crunch cereal in a resealable bag and run a rolling pin over it to break up the cereal just a bit. Add all items into a bowl and stir. Cover with plastic wrap and set the mixture in the refrigerator for about an hour.
When the hour is up, roll the mixture into balls. Store the Chocolate Crunch Peanut Butter Energy Bites in a sealed container in the refrigerator. Pull them out when you want a quick, yummy and healthy snack.
When you head to Target this week make sure you load the following Cartwheel offers to save 10% on Kashi Granola Bars and Kashi Cereals. I highly recommend picking up the Kashi Chewy Nut Butter Bars, like I mentioned previously they have become a staple at our house. Also, try the new Kashi Go Lean Chocolate Crunch cereal.
