I bought the clearance boxes (they had more diapers in them) and they did not automatically come with the gift card. I brought everything to customer service and he went ahead and gave me the $10 gift card.

I think your math might be a little off. My receipt says my two boxes have a return value of $17.49. It’s still a great deal, but $12.99 would be a steal.
