Thanks for the update! That must be a recent change. When the coupon first came out it had no exclusions. You think they would think if these things BEFORE they release the coupons.
I finally used my coupon today, hubby asked for a frame for one of his favorite snap shots. I got to say “I have a coupon for that!” – which I totally love. New to couponing, so I’m loving using them on things we actually NEED. Anyway, I tried it on the $1.99 frame and it worked just fine, the lady didn’t have a problem with it, and it took off exactly $1.99. Yay!
I was just at Target, overcharged for the MP pasta sauce that I was buying with my coupon. I purchased the frames with out a problem, but when I was at Guest Service, trying to resolve the pasta sauce issue, the worker wouldn’t let me keep the frames because they came up free. (I printed before it added the exclusion.). She went back to the lane, got my coupons, and told me she had to return the frames. She also only let me use one coupon. I’ve NEVER had this happen and I’m at Target with coupons all the time!
OK, that is totally crazy!! I would write a letter to corporate, there is no reason for her not to let you keep the frames.
In regards to using only on coupon, is that a Target coupon you are referring to? The coupons state that only one “like” coupon can be redeemed per person. It has been this way for me for a very long time. I
