LOVE this site!!!! I have been following since the beginning of it. 🙂

I had a bit of a problem at Target today. To make a long story short she did not take off one of the $3 coupons for the Dr. Scholl’s products. I asked her a couple of times to look again and she said she was sure she had it.

    What would you do?

Jaclyn- I would take my printed receipt to guest services and show them where it was not taken off. Sometimes the Target coupons are feisty and don’t scan so the cashier will manually accept it. If that’s the case the $3 would show at the bottom of all your purchases on your receipt.

I bought the Biore in Vancouver and it was an awesome deal. The cleanser AND the 8 ct strips were $5.69 each, I used the B1G1 coupon which deducted the full $7 value, plus the $2 shop kick coupon. I ended up paying about $3 including tax and getting the $5 giftcard! Woo!

Have been trying to get the Dr. scholl’s inserts for free. At 2 different Target stores, I have been told they cannot accept the coupon because then the monetary amount goes negative and their system will not allow it! Help!

This is a common misconception by Target employees, but their corporate coupon policy states very clearly, “Coupon amount may be reduced if it exceeds the value of the item after other discounts or coupons are applied.” This has happened to me many times, and I just pull out the printed policy (which I carry in my coupon box) and kindly show them their policy. Here’s a link to their policy.
