Dollar Spot Halloween Centerpiece

Halloween is one of my favorite holidays to decorate for. As usual, the Dollar Spot has me covered with plenty of Halloween goodies to choose from. With just a package of decorative lights and bat stickers, I was able to turn a plain glass vase into an exciting Halloween centerpiece.

You’ll need:

LED string lights ($3 in the Dollar Spot)
stickers ($1 in the Dollar Spot)
glass vase (found near the decorative fake flowers in Target)
candle

Cover the vase with the stickers. You could use whatever stickers you like, but I couldn’t resist these bat stickers. They’re flocked so they have a nice texture to them. Plus, they have glitter that gives off a bit of sparkle.

I’ve had my eye on these LED lights for a while. Target seems to carry them in different colors for various holidays and seasons. This time I found them in silver, black, and orange. I love how versatile and sturdy they are. The lights are nice and bright too.

You’ll want to wrap the lights around the bottom of the vase. I started with one end of lights and worked my way around and around. Once you get to the battery pack, tuck it under the lights and towards the back of your vase. Add a candle and you’re all done!

If you wanted to get creative, you could fill the vase with other Halloween items. Candy corn, plastic spiders, or rubber eyeballs are some of the fun things that come to my mind!
