Target has a brand new way to save, they call it Cartwheel by Target. You will need to have a Facebook account to use this feature. The exciting thing about this new savings system is you can use it in addition to a Target coupon and a manufacturer coupon, that’s 3 times the savings now!
Get signed up and get your offers:
- Head over and sign up for Cartwheel
- Click one of the Collections buttons
- Find an item you are interested in and click on it.
- The image will flip and you can click the add button to add the offer to your Cartwheel
- You start out with 10 offers spots in your Cartwheel.
- You can earn extra offer spots by earning badges (I now have 11 offer spots)
To redeem your offers:
- Just show your Cartwheel barcode on your phone for the cashier to scan (you can find it via Facebook).
- If you don’t have a mobile phone, you can click the “redeem in store” button inside my cartwheel to print out a barcode they cashier can scan.
Most of these offers are percentage off deals, and they will take off the percentage after any Target coupons have been applied. What do you think about this new program? Will you be using it?
It not letting me login through facebook to sign up. Does anyone else have trouble?
I was able to sign up, but none of the offers have an add button when I flip them?
Stephanie I was having the same problem. Just change your browser. I was using Internet Explorer. I would click and it would flip and no add button. I used a different browser and it worked fine. Hope this helps.
That worked, thanks so much!
Find it rather annoying to pull it up through FB to get the bar code, would be easier if they let you add to passbook like moble coupons, or there was an app you could just pull up on your phone.
I added the fb link to my home page – worked great, just saved over $10!
Just signed up for this and going to stack with these 2 offers today!

I do love my Target and saving money, so I’m willing to give it a shot. But how do you bring it up on FB? I’m playing around with it and can’t seem to figure out where to access it…
I go through target.com and click through try it now and then it ask you to log into FB in the top right hand corner. I hope this helps.
Jennifer if you have a smart phone you download Cartwheel from your App Store. When it is downloaded and you click it open that’s when it will ask permission to sign into your Facebook. From that point you can just click open your cartwheel app anytime you want to use it. Hope this helps.
I like it as well, but I have had in several occasions, where the amounts were not taken off when the correct item was purchased. Upsetting, because you can only see what it took of and how much after the reciept prints. Any problems with it had to be addressed at customer service and nothing was able to be handled before I paid.
I’m finding that when I buy multiple items, the cartwheel discounts aren’t coming off for all of them. For example, I bought 10 Vitamin Waters, and the cartwheel app took a discount off of 3 or 4 of them, but that was it. Is there a limit?
There is a limit of only 4 like items.
I have been happy with it so far. I have used it twice and have had everything work correctly.
I know there are some kind of limits, but I don’t remember the particulars. That is probably why all 10 drinks did not get the discount for the person who commented earlier.
Be warned: I just had a TERRIBLE experience with this at my local Target. The manager actually thought I was trying to scam them. Had to write corporate about it. Ridiculous.
I want to to thank you for this great read!! I absolutely enjoyed every little bit of it.
I have you book marked to check out new stuff you post…
I have a total savings of $5.80 so far. The annoying thing was the last time I went it wouldn’t use the scanner so they had to manually enter all the percentage off and I had to watch closely because the cashier almost forgot a couple items.
Why do I need a Facebook account to receive these deals? I am not interested in having a Facebook account so I guess I am not a valuable customer?
